WASHINGTON, DC – At a White House event this week, President Trump outlined a number of environmental initiatives to advance environmental protection while promoting economic growth. ACCF Vice President of Policy and General Counsel Tim Doyle attended the event and issued the following statement:
“President Trump is proving that environmental stewardship can go hand in hand with sound energy policy. The initiatives outlined this week are effective ways to restore, preserve and protect America’s land, air and waters without the heavy regulatory hand that was used by previous administrations to unfairly punish industries and harm the economy that would destroy opportunities for working American families. Continued improvement in the production and use of all sources of domestic energy through innovation and technological advancements will ensure continued prosperity from our vast wealth of traditional energy resources, while steadily reducing the impact on the environment from their production and use.”
