The ACCF bids farewell to Nobel laureate, University of Chicago Professor of Economics, and long time ACCF Board of Scholars member Robert Lucas. A contrarian to many, he challenged many modern day doctrines including Keynnes’s belief that government could manipulate the economic through interventionist policy. The ACCF thank him for his many contributions to economic policy discussions over the last several decades. His insights will be sorely missed.
